Farm Fun!

Henry had a bug this week and wasn't feeling so hot, so we sent Dan to Cherokee by himself and we headed off to Belmond for the weekend. We celebrated Grandma Sue's birthday on Saturday night with a super delicious cake. Henry celebrated with a banana. :) We took Henry out to Uncle Josh and Aunt Laura's farm on Sunday! Henry had a blast seeing 3 adorable grey kitties, big stinky pigs, Grandpa Jon's cows, and a baby pig up close. He also got to ride on a tractor with Dan. After our farm adventures, we had lunch with Grandpa Don and headed home. We all had so much fun! We also got to see baby gaga's room (Henry's cousin in the making) Henry didn't care, but now I know how much closet space I have to fill with tiny baby gifts :) We are so excited to meet baby gaga in April!!

Looking in at the big pigs

Henry wasn't too sure of Great Grandpa Jon :)
My small Jon, I hope you grow to be as amazing and wonderful as Big Jon some day.
Take notes Buddy- he is really great.

That may or may not be my finger in the corner of the picture. Also please note Dan making a tractor noise with his mouth.

So Cute!

These next pictures are of Henry Jon the popcorn snatcher...

Reading his Halloween card from Aunt Jenny! It play music... his fav!

If anyone has an extra 80.00 under a mattress somewhere, Henry would love this leather wing back chair from Target for Christmas....

New Boots! He is so fast, this is the best picture I could get.

My Sweet Boy.

Halloween this weekend and we are excited! Stay tuned for pics!

It's Fall Ya'll

We went to the Heartland Farm pumpkin patch today for a fun fall outing. Henry had a great time running around with a stick and hitting random things with it. It is pretty much his favorite thing to do anytime we go outside. He likes to bring them in the house too and I am constantly throwing them back outside when he isn't looking.

Pure excitement on the hayride! He loved it!

Attempting to get a picture of the 2 of us in the bus. Not so much. The sun was off to the west too far so most of our pictures are full of shadows. It also apparently was snack time so if Henry's hand wasn't in his mouth, his mouth was too full to smile. Better luck next year! Anyway, by the time we wanted to leave, H was in full melt down mode so we didn't even get pumpkins. I see a trip to Fareway in our near future.

Talking about the tires on the tractor during the hayride. Cute. :)

Still Here

No pictures to post though- Just found the camera, and smalls is sleeping (thank goodness) so just words today. We are all moved into our little house, and it is starting to feel more homey.  Dan is enjoying his job and comes home with a smile on his face everyday which is what I like to see. Henry and I are spending lots of quality time together and I am loving pretty much every second of it! He is my trusty sidekick and goes everywhere that I go all day long. Well, almost everywhere. He does stand and whine at the top of the gate when I run to the basement to switch the laundry load over. :)
Nothing super exciting in Mourlamland- we are all just enjoying being 2 minutes away from Target and Old Navy. We head back to Belmond for the first time this weekend for a wedding and to drop H off with Grandma Sue while we head to the Iowa State game Saturday night. GO CYCLONES!

I do hate to blog without a picture of some kind- so how about an oldie. :)  HJ - 2 days old
