Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial weekend- Gma Barb came over Saturday to spend the night, we grilled and stayed up really late (10:05 whoa). Sunday we went to church, Sam's club, grilled again, and send Gma on her way. Today we had tons of fun outside while Dan mowed. It was really windy, but helped so it wasn't so super hot. I filled a tote with water, cars and farm animals that acted as a low end water table for HJ, and he couldn't have been more thrilled! We grilled again and Henry ate a whole half of a butterfly chop himself for supper along with quite a few red potatoes. We acted like it was chicken, and down the hatch it went! :)

 Little boy, big stick

Mr. Guy

Whoa!

Washing his mower one tiny scoop of water at a time.

His new favorite thing to do.

1....2.....WHEEE!!!!

Chalk is very serious business in this house!

These aren't from today, but too cute not to share !

Notice a theme here...

We got a bike trailer and have been having tons of fun with it! H has a blast and gets pretty bummed when it is time to come back home.... "More ride, More ride, no home, no home"

He is super cute... and he knows it.

We had a super naughty day today. No real other way to put it. Just naughty. And whiny.
So to help myself feel a little better, I thought would do a photo dump to remind myself of my super sweet lovey boy instead of the dude I spent the day with.

I feel better now.

And because I am hungry at this present moment, I shall post this.....
and yes, it was just as delicious as it looks.

That is all.

Master Dan.

Dan graduated last Friday from Iowa State with his Masters of Education. We are super proud of him!! Good Job Dad! or if you are Henry "job, dad!"  He might have his masters, but he still is just Daddy to us, so no special treatment.  :) We are happy to have him back full time, but just for a little while before he starts his doctoral program this fall. When he completes that, feel free to refer to us as Dr. and Mrs. Mourlam any time you like.

And just for fun, let's go back 5 years....
cute kids.
