Dad? We go Cedar Falls?

We headed over to Sturgis Falls today in Cedar Falls for the parade and music in the park! We might have also headed over to Scratch for a few of our favorite cupcakes...... Most delicious! Henry loved the parade and I'm pretty sure his favorite part of course were the firetrucks. Sister loved being outside and yelled out in excitement a few times :) After the parade we walked over to the park for a tenderloin, corn dog, and a slice of pizza to share on the grass. Healthy? No. Tasty? Yes! There was a disco band playing while we ate. I'll give them a 6 out of 10. Pretty sure they got worse as they went on. Maybe Dan and I just don't have a appreciation for the classics. Ha.
After  naps we played outside- Henry mowed and Nora ate grass. Pretty nice little Saturday :)




   

    

Eight Months

Nora Lulu is 8 months old!!


In your 8th month you...

• weigh almost 20 lbs and wear mostly 6-12 month clothes
• learned how to crawl and showed it to Daddy first! 
• pull yourself up to everything! 
• want whatever toy Henry has
• are very sassy! 
• eat bananas, pears, black beans, watermelon, cantelope, strawberries, sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, peas, carrots, egg yolks, apple slices
• reach your arms up to be picked up
• stand in your crib after your nap and yell for someone to come get you
• still stick your tongue out all day long
• do not have any teeth
• love standing and having someone walk with you
• helped celebrate Mommy's birthday and mother's day
• are impatient when it is time to get dressed and usually sass back
• HATE wearing bibs
• are learning how to drink from your sippy cup
• love crawling around after Henry
• are so excited to see Daddy after work!
