Thankful Thursday

We are so thankful for our precious little family!

Nora's Baptism

We celebrated Nora's baptism on the 12th with Great Uncle Jerry. It was a special day for our little family to welcome Miss Nora into her church family. She was a perfect angel (of course) and big brother wasn't too bad either. He crawled under the pews with cousin Wes and had a lovely time coming up to the baptismal water during the ceremony to wash his hands, or wash away any sins.... either way :)

One Month

Nora Beverly is one month old today! It is going so fast, just like we knew it would!


NB in your first Month you....

• have been to two doctor's appointments, the first you gained back 7 oz from when we left the hospital, and a week and a half later, you were up a whole pound from when you were born! 
• have learned out to put your pouty lip out. Dad says this will not work on him, but I beg to differ! 
• decided you don't really like being strapped into your car seat, but once we get moving, you are just fine. 
• have outgrown quite a few newborn clothes. Mommy is still putting you in her favorite newborn size sleeper because I'm sure it won't' fit much longer! 
• eat every 2 hours during the day as fast as you can. You are a great night time sleeper, only waking up once usually, and have given us a 6 hour stretch already! 
• strongly dislike a pacifier so far, you gag every time Mommy tries to give it to you. 
• have been out on a walk with Henry and slept the whole time. Henry loved to push your stroller. 
• love listening to your big brother talk to you and his favorite thing to say is, "No sad Nora! No Sad" :) 
• can hold your head up pretty steadily and don't mind tummy time.
• have started sucking on your fist but haven't found your thumb

Miss Nora Beverly is 22 days old today! Here is what we have been up to!

She was 8lb 13oz when she was born on the 4th
8lb 1 oz on the 7th when we were released from the hospital
8lb 8oz at her 1st checkup on the 10th
9lb 13oz at her 2 week checkup on the 19th
