Christmas

5 Christmas celebrations in 3 days. We rocked it with minimal whining from each of us :) It was so great to see all of our family- Dan and I can't quit saying how awesome this year was, but we are kind of hoping next year won't be so busy. Lots of miles put on the car, lots of pounds put on the waistline, and lots of Kleenex blown into. All three of us are sick with colds and happy to be back home. Henry was majorly spoiled (as usual) but I am excited to have lots of new toys to bring out whenever he is having a grumpy day. He hasn't gotten anything new since his birthday so it is all a little overwhelming to little mister. I am pretty sure a certain lawn mower will be getting packed up and sent directly back to a certain Uncle Bobby.... It is awful even with the sound turned off!!

Christmas with Grandpa Don, Henry demonstrating a minimal amount of whining.

Winter Wonderland...... check!

I think Jenna has a picture just like this somewhere. I am sure that Henry is cuter though. :)

Henry and Gma B at the Hiscocks Christmas in Carroll

Attempt at a nice picture by the fire... almost.

Matching outfits, Yes please!

Mr. Guy- the scholar.

On the road again...

Sesame street blanket Dan and I tied for H one late night. Dan was miserable, and I enjoyed every second of it.

Cheese!

A little pre-gift opening bounce.

The above mentioned mower, no other comment necessary. Dan looks slightly worried here- it isn't even out of the box yet!

Bliss.

Poser!

Sneaking in a early present.

H admiring his new nativity!

My love.

Whoa.....

Henry had his first interaction with a slinky last night at Target. He was thrilled. Dan and I were equally as thrilled that we got to shop pretty much the entire store without him making a peep.

He would shake it as hard has he could and say..... WHOA! By the time I got my phone out to make a video, it had lost a little luster, but is cute none the less. :)

Blog a log in the fog with a dog.

We have been reading a lot of Dr. Seuss books in our house lately, and this is apparently also how my brain thinks. Every thing must rhyme or be in a sing song fashion. Henry's favorite is Hop on Pop right now, and he loves to participate with thing in singing too long. So cute!
Dan is on his last week of school for the semester. Henry and I are looking forward to having his full attention at night again soon!
We are getting excited for Christmas! The trees are up and the house is mostly decorated. H and I have started our shopping. We are most excited to buy for Baby Studer. (Henry is excited, he just doesn't know it yet!) H is very meticulous in making sure all the Christmas lights are plugged in if he is up, and before he goes down for nap, they must all be turned back off. Type A my little guy is, but I guess the apple doesn't fall far from Mama's tree. :)

We had a fun Thanksgiving with lots of people and travel. We made it to the Christmas parade in Belmond while we were back too. Henry didn't quite know what to think, and definitely did NOT like the fire trucks or the steam engine they had. Daddy to the rescue though, he just popped into one the stores on Main street away from the noise.

Random shots from the last few weeks:

At Target yesterday wearing Dan's adult size stocking hat. Big head Bob.

Taking in the city today before running to the store.

I took a few extenders out of my swiffer to make it small Jon sized, and he is obsessed!

 He does walls too!

Bongo on the tree! Henry loves this.

Static head!

Watching Christmas Vacation for the first time. Yes, I do realize he is holding an extension cord.

New tube socks!

Watching Sid the Science Kid

Banana breakfast in a baseball bean bag chair.

Blurry cute face :)

Cheesy von cheeseton.

Sesame street youtube before bed with dad.

Really enjoying modeling the new tie cousin Ellie got him.

Like father, like son.

Big head to heavy.

Applesauce peeps!

So funny to pick my crayons up with my toes!!

Coloring with Gma B. This looks like it was taken before Henry thought it was necessary to break the crayons.

Halloween

 Beep Beep.

Henry dressed up as his best buddy, Bongo for Halloween! We just made a few quick stops in Belmond, but I think he had a pretty good time.  The rest of us enjoyed all of his candy!!
